Supercharge Terms and Conditions

The Supercharge Rewards Program gives you 7% annually when you hold cUSD, cEUR, or cREAL, mcUSD, mcEUR, or mcREAL in Valora.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Connect your phone number during onboarding. You can also tap “Connect phone number” on the Supercharge page. 

  2. Add at least 10 cUSD/cEUR/mcUSD/mcEUR or 50 cREAL/mcREAL to your wallet. You can follow these instructions for adding funds to your Valora wallet

  3. You can maximize your rewards by holding a balance of 1,000 cUSD/cEUR/mcUSC/mcEUR or 6,000 cREAL/mcREAL. You will not get rewarded on any amount above 1,000 cUSD/cEUR/mcUSD/mcEUR or 6,000 cREAL/mcREAL. If you hold more than one stablecoin, the one with the highest balance will Supercharge.

  4. Rewards are calculated at the end of each week based on the average balances you held during the entire period (“balance”). 

  5. Rewards are made available to your Valora account within 3 days after the end of each period. You need to claim your rewards within 28 days after the rewards become available to you. Valora will send a push notification directing you to the Supercharge page to claim your rewards.

  6. You can withdraw, send, or spend your crypto anytime.

More details:

  • To ensure eligibility, connect your phone number. You can connect your phone number in the Valora app. Note: you may need to reconnect your phone number to continue receiving rewards in our updated system. Users who need to reconnect will be prompted to do so on the Supercharge rewards page. 

  • Eligibility is contingent upon maintaining an average balance of at least 10 cUSD/cEUR/mcUSD/mcEUR or 50 cREAL/mcREAL in your account during the rewards period.

  • You need to be on Valora version 1.54.0 or later to be able to claim your rewards.

  • Your account's average cUSD/cEUR/cREAL/mcUSD/mcEUR/mcREAL balance during each rewards period is calculated by averaging your account’s cUSD/cEUR/cREAL/mcUSD/mcEUR/mcREAL balance over all blocks validated during the rewards period in the Celo blockchain. 

  • Rewards will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis (by phone number connection date).

  • Rewards will only be available for a limited time while the funds for this program last. So start getting your rewards today!

Important notices:

The rate and terms are subject to change over time, and are void where prohibited. Rewards are not guaranteed, may be discontinued at any time, and will be allocated on a best efforts basis. Actual results may vary, based on various factors such as leap years, governance change, timing of transfers, rounding, fund exhaustion, and variation in rewards rates. 

A ‘rewards period’ or ‘period’ refers to the duration of time between Monday at 0:00 UTC and the following Monday at 0:00 UTC. During this time, the average account balance needs to be 10 cUSD/10 cEUR/50 cREAL or higher, and the phone number connected to the account must be confirmed, in order to be eligible to receive rewards.

NEITHER VALORA NOR ANY PERSON OR ENTITY ASSOCIATED WITH VALORA MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SUPERCHARGE REWARDS PROGRAM.  VALORA AND THEIR SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNEES HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL VALORA AND THE CELO COMMUNITY, THEIR SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNEES, AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SUPERCHARGE REWARDS PROGRAM AND ANY WEBSITES OR APPLICATIONS LINKED TO IT, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED REWARDS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.
